Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to empower each individual child to investigate his or her interests within a loving community of peers and adults. We provide a safe, playful environment where our children are free to discover, explore, question, and express their own experiences, predictions, and evaluations in a myriad of “languages”. Offering a variety of materials, tools, concepts, and equipment, we help them to see alternatives, problem solve and make their own decisions. We are committed to observe and listen, and then to react to and validate their ideas with respect, imagination and tenderness.

Admissions/ Registration

All admission candidates must submit by mail or by hand delivery an FLP application with a non-refundable $50 admission/ registration fee to the school. Each child, including returning children must follow this procedure each year and pay the admission/ registration fee. After church families, current families and alumnae families have been registered, an FLP lottery panel is convened to randomly select applicants to fill remaining vacancies. 

Applicants must be no younger than 3 years old and no older than 4 years old as of September 30 of that year. Requests for an exception to this policy must be submitted to the preschool board in writing with appropriate documentation by Dec. 30. The request should address why it’s appropriate and in the best interest of the child to attend Faith for an additional year.

We do consider birthdates and gender when placing students in classes. When we reach our capacity enrollment, we establish a waiting list, which is maintained for the current school year.

We welcome children of all races, ethnic and religious backgrounds. Limited tuition assistance is available. Please contact Tracy for further details.
